Gov. Tina Kotek is seeking reelection in Oregon’s Nov. 3, 2026 general election. The Secretary of State’s qualified-candidate filings list Kotek on the Democratic and Working Families lines, Christine Drazan on the Republican and Libertarian lines, and Brett Smith on the Pacific Green line.
In her campaign biography, Kotek says she moved to Oregon in 1987, graduated from the University of Oregon and worked at Oregon Food Bank and Children First for Oregon. She began serving in the Oregon Legislature in 2007, became House speaker in 2013 and was elected governor in 2022.
Her campaign materials emphasize lowering housing costs, reducing homelessness and expanding mental-health and addiction treatment. She also identifies student success, support for educators, public safety, wildfire preparedness and protection of Oregon’s land, water and air as priorities.
The campaign describes work against corporate price gouging and support for local businesses and workforce development. Those descriptions are campaign statements, rather than independent assessments of outcomes.
