The Tualatin City Council holds its next regular meeting Monday, July 27, at Tualatin City Services, 10699 SW Herman Road. Every regular meeting includes time for public comment, and residents can participate in person, by Zoom, or in writing.
The work session begins at 5 p.m., with the regular meeting at 7 p.m., according to the city's meeting information page. The agenda for July 27 has not yet been posted; the city's practice is to publish agenda packets seven days before each meeting at tualatinoregon.gov/meetings.

- In person: Attend at Tualatin City Services and submit a Speaker Request Form to staff before public comment begins.
- Zoom: Visit tualatinoregon.gov/meetings/city-council-meeting-10 for the meeting link once posted. To speak, type your name in the Zoom chat at the designated time. The phone dial-in is +1 669 900 6833.

Speakers are limited to three minutes each.

Recent council business: downtown revitalization
At its July 13 meeting, the council heard from Community Advisory Committee members Beth Dittman and Kaiden Edwards, who reported the committee had reviewed 66 recommendations and 14 renderings produced during the first two phases of the Downtown Revitalization Project. The same meeting included the announcement that Metro had awarded the city $740,000 through its 2040 Planning and Development Grant program to fund Phase 3.
That phase, scheduled to run from September 2026 through March 2028, will produce an urban design framework and updated development standards for roughly 300 acres centered around the Lake at the Commons. The city's downtown project page describes the broader Core Opportunity and Reinvestment Area plan as a $140 million public investment over 30 years.
Planned projects include a six-acre Riverfront Park next to the Juanita Pohl Center, targeted for construction beginning in June 2029, and a mixed-use catalyst project with ground-floor retail and housing near the lake.
Mayor Frank Bubenik, in the city's July 13 grant announcement, said the project "stands to bring a wave of new investment and development" to downtown Tualatin.
