Tualatin artist Brenna White designed the 2026 West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta poster around the theme "Tattoo Couture – Fortune Favors the Brave!"
The City of Tualatin revealed the artwork Saturday, Sept. 5, giving residents their first look at the visual identity for the annual festival at Tualatin Commons.
The regatta is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lake of the Commons, 8325 SW Nyberg St.
The City of Tualatin said the 2026 design blends tattoo artistry and classic symbolism. The poster brings back the regatta's signature jester figure, now surrounded by ravens, serpents and black cats.
The imagery plays on stacked decks and fortune favoring daring competitors on the water.
What to expect Oct. 18
The regatta, running since 2004, draws thousands of spectators each year to watch costumed paddlers race hollowed-out, thousand-pound gourds across the lake.
Pumpkin races are scheduled for noon and 2 p.m., according to the Tualatin Parks website. The festival also features pumpkin bowling, pumpkin golf, food and live entertainment.

- Saturday, Oct. 17, noon–5 p.m.: Pumpkins and Pints at Stickmen Brewing Company, 19475 SW 118th Ave. Free admission. Features the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers Terminator Weigh-Off and New Seasons Market Giant Tomato Weigh-Off.
- Sunday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m.: 5K Regatta Run/Walk hosted by the Tualatin Rotary Club at Tualatin Community Park, 8513 SW Tualatin Rd.
- Sunday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.: West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta at the Lake of the Commons
