Tigard Public Library will close all day Wednesday, Sept. 30, for staff development.
The city posted the closure notice on Sept. 17. The library's online calendar also lists the date as "Library Closed."
Regular hours resume Thursday, Oct. 1. The library is normally open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During the closure, patrons can still access digital resources around the clock through Washington County Cooperative Library Services with a valid WCCLS library card. The collection includes e-books, audiobooks, streaming video and research databases.
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. Residents who don't yet have a card can sign up at any Washington County library branch, including Tigard Public Library at 13500 SW Hall Blvd.
