Tigard Pool will close Friday evening, Sept. 18, and all day Saturday, Sept. 19, for a high school water polo tournament, the Tigard Tualatin Aquatic District announced on its website.
The closure affects the pool at 8680 SW Durham Road. The district did not name which schools are competing.
The district also operates Tualatin Pool at 22380 SW Boones Ferry Road in Tualatin. Residents can call 503-431-5455 with questions about the closure or alternatives.
The district's fall schedule, including swim lessons and exercise classes, took effect Sept. 8.
