Tigard and Tualatin will send seven returning all-league players onto the field when girls soccer practices open Monday, Aug. 17, giving both programs a foundation of recognized talent as they chase West Linn atop the Three Rivers League.
Tigard senior defender Lexie Wilkie is the headline name. She is the only First Team All-TRL defender returning league-wide in 2026, according to the all-league honors published by the Lake Oswego Review in November 2025. The Tigers also bring back senior forward Mia Sadek, sophomore defender Miriya Kira and senior goalkeeper Brianna Burum, all honorable mention selections last fall.
Across town, Tualatin returns three all-league honorees, the most of any TRL school outside last year's top-three finishers. Junior goalkeeper Kenley Anderson earned First Team honors in 2025 and is the only returning First Team keeper in the league. Junior defender Emery McMillin made the Second Team, and junior defender Sydney Murdick received honorable mention.
Both programs are trying to close a gap. West Linn went 6-0 in TRL play and 15-2-2 overall in 2025, reaching the Class 6A state championship game before falling to No. 1 Jesuit, 4-1, according to Your Oregon News. Lakeridge (13-5-0, 4-2 TRL) and Lake Oswego (10-6-1, 4-2 TRL) both reached the state quarterfinals. Tigard made the 6A playoffs but lost its opening-round game at Grant, 4-0, according to Tigard Life.
The Tigers had multiple all-league honorees in 2025, including Ella Naser on the First Team as a senior. With Naser graduated, Wilkie becomes Tigard's anchor.
Like the boys soccer programs that return 10 all-leaguers, the girls side has experience coming back. But rosters have not been finalized, and athletes may have transferred during the offseason. The returning all-league list is based on players who earned honors as juniors, sophomores or freshmen last season.
All TRL teams are scheduled to play jamborees Thursday, Aug. 27. Specific jamboree locations for Tigard and Tualatin have not been announced; West Linn's is at McMinnville's Wortman Stadium, Lakeridge's at Silverton and Lake Oswego's at Sherwood. West Linn hosts North Medford on Thursday, Sept. 3, Lake Oswego travels to Summit on Tuesday, Sept. 1, and Lakeridge visits Cleveland on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
