The Tualatin City Council meets at today at 5 p.m. at Tualatin City Services.

The session comes two weeks after Metro announced a $740,000 grant to Tualatin through the 2040 Planning and Development Grant program. The city announced the award on July 13.

The money is earmarked for Tualatin's Downtown Revitalization Project, which launched in April. Whether the council will discuss or take action on the grant Monday has not been confirmed.

In a separate funding development, the Washington County Board of Commissioners on July 7 approved consent item MO 26-173, authorizing a contract with the City of Tualatin to use federal Community Development Block Grant dollars.

That contract represents a different funding stream from the Metro award.

Together, the two grants give Tualatin new resources heading into the second half of 2026, though neither has appeared on a confirmed council agenda.
